The 2nd CSRMeetup session was held at the Cybertower 1 in Ebene. We shared the following:
Kolektif Rivier Nwar (KRN), a community development programme for pockets of poverty in Black River that is quite effective in terms of targeting all key issues, involving all key stakeholders and having the beneficiaries as actors and ultimate owners.
Preparatory social surveys that were done not only in Black River prior to the setting up of the KRN, but also in Barkly and Karo Kaliptis by the United Nations' UN Habitat and UNDP as part of a special community empowerment programme called the Participatory Slum Upgrading Programme (PSUP).
Presentation by Marie Annick of Terra Foundation on all the CSR donations made by the main CSR entities from 2009 to 2013 (to which NGOs, how much, for which priority areas).
