The 5th Session of CSRMeetup was organised at CIM Group in Port-Louis. This session was welcomed officials from the Mauritius Revenue Authority.
The interactive session with the members of the MRA was indeed a very fruitful and constructive meeting and based on the various feedback and comments received at our office, this initiative of the NCSR Committee proved to be laudable.
Since the removal of the CSR Guidelines, the NCSR Committee in collaboration with the MRA have worked in close collaboration to draft a list of FAQs as prepared by the MRA (see attached).

The First session was organised by Maga Ramasawmy from Air Mauritius with Professor Hopkins from Switzerland. Professor Hopkins has been involved in CSR since the early 1990s and has developed, and steadily, modified a definition of CSR that many people now use. He is the founder and director of the Global CSR and Finance Training Institute (www.csrfi.com), and also is Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University (GMU) in the USA (som.gmu.edu). Michael is also CEO of MHC International Ltd (MHCi).
